Well, you could have the starting set up as some kind of application like for a college scholarship, job, or something like that. Silent Hill Shattered Memories took a similar approach with a forum where you answered questions about yourself at the start of the game. As for the story, I'll wish you ...
Well, a story would make things more interesting. If you have played as Dante and Virgil in Devil May Cry 3 SE, you'd feel like Virgil's part of the game is bare bones because of the lack of cut scenes that Dante had. As spriting, I would suggest using place holder sprites for things that aren't top...
Let me show you what I mean with a picture: Tigress from Kung Fu Panda the game in T-pose. It's not a Sonic character, but this is more or less to show you what I am talking about. I'm not sure if the ripping software can rip the rigging of the model or not. I exported her in Obj file format, so I ...

I also learned how to rip models from DirectX games in T-pose easily recently. Not sure if it would be of any use to you or not, but feel free to ask if you want to know.
More like placing each section of the square down on the map one at time, if RPG Maker will let you do that. I'm getting the feeling that RPG Maker is trying to stretch it out If you are trying to do the whole square all at once.
The roof and walls are 64x64 pixels. I am using a grid that is 16x16 over the 64x64. And forgive me, my mind is mush right now. ._. 16x16 Okay, let's try to rework that grid and have each section represented by a letter. ABCD EFGH IJKL MNOP A, D, M and P are the corners. B and C are the top edges. ...
Is the tile size for RPG maker VXAce 32x32? If so, what I mean is divide the middle square up into four tiles like this: 12 34 Afterwards, place them down one at a time. Part 1 first. Part 2 second, etc. You can choose to switch between them to create one whole sqaures or place the tiles in there pr...
I did mirror that image in the middle. (And yes, that is what it is suppose to look like) I mirrored it in the hopes it would be a repeated pattern. This part of the game making is giving me the most trouble. I don't know how to paint it where it will display my walls without any problems. (I...
I have music from pretty much EVERY Sonic game and I have a BUNCH of sounds effects from a few Sonic games (most numbered, not labeled) if you're interested. And a few don't know this, but I happen to be a casual spriter myself~ Used to be my main hobby until I started 3D Modeling. Have you looked ...
[gallery preview=18544 full=18542 width=415:1wnxniyh]chipset Next we have the chipset that I am still working on. I have worked constantly and this thing is a pain in the butt so far. The top part of the image is what a wall would look like. The bottom three images is what they look like in those s...
Like I said, one can tell there is an improvement compared to the originals. As for the circuit boards, I can get my 3DS out and try to a few snapshots of some of the see through controllers I have if you want. Don't know how the quality of the pictures will turn out, though.
I'm curious what you have planned for a Shard chipset. Metal, circuit boards, cooling fans, and computer chips seem like they are to be expected at the very least.
